I've Got a Crush On You

How can I feel so lonely when I am surrounded by all these wonderful people? This is officially the first day of the school year that I feel so lonely that I am almost driven to tears. I know I am never really alone as there are tons of fun, amazing people who love me and whom I love dearly. However, there is someone who I have more feelings for than the others. I am not going to reveal this to anyone. Those of you who know who this special person is, just keep quiet. I don't know whether to pursue anything because of the fact that we are really good friends and this year is going so well. But, she is sending out so many hints. Chase has seen them. Ahhh! Okay, that's all for that.
Shameless Plug:
It's a little early, but come and see "You Can't Take It With You" here at Augie! I am acting in it! Yes, my first freshman college acting experience (and only time this year.) It is showing from Nov.10-12, 17-19 at 7:30PM. Tickets are only $1 if you are an Augie student. However, student tickets are only $5. You can make reservations at www.augie.edu/theatre. I hope to see you there! Love and hugs!

The Fall Break of NYC

So, in light of recent events, I find it necessary to post on my blog. This fall break was amazing. I went to New York City and had a wonderful time. I love that city. One day I will live there. This time instead of being herded around in a tour bus, I was able to get a full-on immersive experience of New York. We took the subway everywhere we went. It was so much fun. I got the chance to see 4 shows. I tried to win the Wicked lottery a couple of times, but with no luck. However, I got to see the number 1 show on my list. Avenue Q. Here are the shows I saw in order of my enjoyment:
1. Avenue Q
2. Sweeney Todd
3. The Great American Trailer Park Musical
4. Altar Boyz
All of them were amazing. Avenue Q was just orgasmic. Sweeney Todd was just so damn cool. The Great American Trailer Park Musical was so fucking hilarious! Altar Boyz had really good music and gave me quite a laugh. I am so happy that I was able to spend some time (and money) in New York over fall break. I can't wait to go back!

Apples are yummy, especially big ones.

So, I just woke up from a nap. However, this "nap" lasted from 11:30pmish to 7:30amish. Yes, that's right I said amish; deal with it. So, life has been quite interesting in the past week. I am now going to be stage manager of Pirates of Penzance. Before you all say I am crazy, I'd like to say first that I am really excited. Yep, now you can say I am crazy. We had our first production meeting, and it looks like the show is going to be very untraditional. That is good, I believe. So, I guess you can say college theatre is going very well. I have made tons of new, wonderful theatre friends. I have just jumped in feet first when it comes to involvement. I have been so involved lately. I don't even have time to think. Ahhh, I love that feeling. I am sooo looking forward to fall break. I will get time to think and enjoy myself. I am going to New York City on Friday and I get back on Tuesday. I am looking forward to it. I will be going to Avenue Q if it's the last thing I do. I had a wonderful conversation with Julia Bennett yesterday. She put me at ease about some things that were going on in my life. Stupid parents. Honestly. They have no clue. Anyway, I have a class at 9, which means that I have plenty of time to sleep. Goodnight...I guess.

Carnivores

We sat there, slaving over our math homework. All four of us were feverishly sweating, pulling our hair out by the roots. We finish a problem and move onto the next one and realize that we will be working at this for hours. Our mouths spill forth with words of disappointment and frustration. Each of us take assigned problems and after working for about 30 mins longer, we finally finish realizing we aren't even half done yet. We look at the upcoming problems, and realize we don't know what we are doing. Glancing at each other, we all agree to call it a night. We grab our large state-fair pickles and gather in a circle. Ceremoniously, we tap our pickles together and say "carnivores." At that moment, we knew that all four of us had become one.
